Sono ancora aperte le iscrizioni alla SCUOLA DI SPECIALIZZAZIONE IN DIDATTICA DELL’ITALIANO COME LINGUA STRANIERA dell’Università per Stranieri di Siena.
La Scuola, di durata biennale, è un percorso formativo in didattica dell’italiano L2 e ha lo scopo di formare operatori che intendono entrare nel mondo dell’insegnamento della lingua e della cultura italiana a stranieri e di qualificare quanti italiani e stranieri già operano in questo settore sia in Italia che all’estero.
Tale titolo dà la possibilità, congiuntamente ai titoli di abilitazione e ai titoli aggiuntivi previsti dalla normativa vigente, di accedere alla classe di concorso denominata A23 (italiano per discenti di lingua straniera), così come indicato nel D.M. 92/2016, ed è valido per tutte le altre graduatorie per l’insegnamento dell’italiano a stranieri.

“È arrivato un nuovo kit per progetto! eTwinning è felice di annunciare che è ora disponibile S.T.E.A.M.-tastic, un kit per progetto dedicato all’educazione e cura della prima infanzia (ECEC).

L’educazione e cura della prima infanzia è una delle aree cruciali dell’istruzione, e investirvi ricerca, risorse ed energia è essenziale per lo sviluppo armonioso dei bambini, specie quelli di aree svantaggiate. I primi anni di vita sono il periodo più critico per lo sviluppo del cervello e un fattore determinante per i risultati che si conseguono successivamente nella vita. Secondo la Commissione europea, il personale che lavora in campo ECEC rappresenta il fattore di maggior impatto per il benessere, l’apprendimento e i risultati di sviluppo dei bambini.

Per queste ragioni, l’educazione e cura della prima infanzia è una delle priorità di eTwinning, la più grande comunità di insegnanti in Europa.
Questo è testimoniato da iniziative come iPremi europei eTwinning, il concorso che rappresenta un’elevata forma di riconoscimento per i progetti educativi. Dal 2019 al concorso è stata aggiunta la categoria “Fino a 6 anni”, che incoraggia gli insegnanti di tutta Europa a creare nuovi progetti di qualità per gli alunni della scuola pre-primaria. Riconoscere e premiare gli sforzi e le iniziative degli insegnanti è necessario per incrementare la qualità dell’educazione e cura della prima infanzia in Europa.

eTwinning continua a sostenere l’ECEC anche al di fuori del concorso dei Premi europei. Per esempio, tra il 29 settembre e il 1° ottobre di quest’anno sarà organizzato un workshop di sviluppo professionale per lo staff ECEC. Si occuperà del profilo degli insegnanti ECEC e degli approcci trasversali e multidisciplinari che i docenti possono implementare su temi come lo sviluppo delle competenze di alfabetizzazione mediatica nei bambini in età prescolare, gli approcci STEAM e il lavoro di squadra.

Il nuovo kit per l’ECEC, S.T.E.A.M.-tastic, si basa sull’educazione STEAM ed esplora diversi temi attraverso Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts e Mathematics (Scienze, Tecnologia, Ingegneria, Arte e Matematica). Il progetto offre quindi ai partecipanti un’esperienza interdisciplinare che permette loro di impegnarsi nell’educazione inclusiva utilizzando approcci orientati alla risoluzione dei problemi. Ogni tema dovrebbe essere affrontato da tutti e cinque i punti di vista organizzando attività insieme ai partner internazionali, in modo che i partecipanti sviluppino una comprensione olistica del tema proposto.

Are you making the most of digital technologies for teaching and learning?

SELFIE for Teachers is an online tool to help primary and secondary teachers reflect on how they are using digital technologies in their professional practice. Teachers can use the tool to learn more about the digital skills they have and identify areas where they can develop further.
Sign-up is easy and any teacher in Europe or anywhere in the world can use the tool for free.

SELFIE for Teachers’ questions and statements relate to uses of technology in the following areas
• Professional communication and collaboration
• Personal learning and development
• Finding and creating digital resources
• Teaching and learning practice
• Student assessment
• Facilitating student digital competences

Completing the self-reflection takes around 20 minutes. This can be done in one or more sessions as all answers can be saved

On completing the statements, the teacher automatically receives a report on their proficiency level in each of the areas with suggested next steps. This report is for the teacher alone and is not shared unless the teacher chooses to do so.

The tool is not designed to assess performance but to empower teachers to reflect on digital technologies use. Based on their results, teachers can design their learning pathways to further develop their digital competence and confidence.

The tool can be used by individual teachers or by a team of teachers within the same school. Answers provided are always anonymous.

When signing up to use the tool, teachers are asked if they agree to their anonymised data being used for policy and research purposes.

Everyone completing SELFIE for Teachers can receive a certificate and a digital badge for taking part. Teachers can complete the self-reflection on a regular basis to monitor progress and pinpoint further professional learning needs.
