L’Europarlamento ha approvato l’AI Act, la sua posizione sul regolamento sull’intelligenza artificiale (AI). Tiene conto dell’AI generativa, ma senza il riconoscimento facciale in tempo reale. Adesso partono i negoziati con i governi.

Il Parlamento europeo ha approvato il 14.06.2023 l’AI Act, la sua posizione per regolare l’intelligenza artificiale (AI), con 499 voti favorevoli, 28 contrari e 93 astenuti. Il primo regolamento al mondo su questo tema. Ora è una bozza, che entra nelle fasi finali di approvazione. Dall’Europa si aspettano l’approvazione finale entro quest’anno.

“Abbiamo bisogno di una intelligenza artificiale di cui poterci fidare”, ha riassunto Margrethe Vestager, commissaria UE alla concorrenza.

“Il testo dell’AI Act, come emendato dal Parlamento”, commenta Anna Cataleta, Partner senior di P4I – Partners4Innovation, “introduce novità che tengono conto anche dei recenti sviluppi dei sistemi di AI generativa.

La speranza è quella che il testo regga di fronte alla velocità dello sviluppo dei sistemi di AI e che, una volta applicabile, possa essere uno strumento utile e non obsoleto“.

Il repentino cambiamento degli ultimi anni, dovuto alla crisi sanitaria, ha fatto emergere la difficoltà del sistema educativo italiano di adattarsi alla complessità della modernità. La domanda sociale di cambiamento all’interno del contesto educativo è decisamente aumentata e la comunità educante ha iniziato ad accogliere l’innovazione come metodologia per affrontare e trovare soluzioni efficaci ai cambiamenti dell’oggi.

Attraverso i finanziamenti stanziati sulla Missione 4 del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza, le linee nazionali ed europee si pongono oggi l’obiettivo di trasformare la scuola in un’istituzione innovativa, sostenibile, sicura e inclusiva, aprendo la strada all’attivazione di processi di innovazione educativa.

In particolare, per il sistema educativo italiano, l’innovazione può essere un alleato per facilitare la risoluzione di problemi profondi come la rigidità del sistema trasmissivo, la mancanza della centralità dello studente, l’inadeguatezza degli spazi.

In questo contesto, Ashoka Italia, insieme a una decina di partner strategici fra cui INDIRE, ha intrapreso un processo partecipato di ricerca, analisi e sistematizzazione delle esperienze di cambiamento in ambito educativo, per individuare, analizzare e raccontare lo stato dell’arte del panorama italiano dell’innovazione educativa.

Il questionario online richiede circa 18 minuti di tempo, ma può essere via via salvato e completato in un secondo momento.

Tutti possono partecipare ed eventualmente anche proporre un’esperienza che entrerà a far parte della mappatura dell’innovazione.

Inge Van de Putte

Inge Van de Putte is dedicated to promoting inclusive education and providing assistance to children, parents, and schools. Her expertise lies in supporting teachers and special needs coordinators, which were subjects of her PhD and ongoing research in Disability Studies at Ghent University. At the university, she emphasizes the enhancement of communication skills among students and establishing strong partnerships with parents. Additionally, she places significant importance on the implementation of research findings into practical settings, as evidenced by her contributions to the documentary ‘Inclusief’ , her various books and chapters, and her podcast series featuring parents of children with disabilities.
