eTwinning featured groups are virtual spaces for eTwinners to share resources and project ideas, celebrate achievements and build meaningful connections with other eTwinners. In this session, 8 moderators will present the featured groups and share the upcoming activities eTwinners can take part in. Attendees will have the opportunities to discover the topics covered by these groups and select the ones that match more their own interests and backgrounds.

Moderator of the eTwinning featured group Basic skills in action
Rafael Montero is a math and technical drawing teacher at the Spanish High School Colegio Corazón de María. He is an eTwinning ambassador and moderates the STEM eTwinning Featured Group. His interests lie in raising scientific vocations among his students and increasing the European dimension of his educational community. To that end, he has participated in or coordinated several European level STEM and Erasmus projects with different EU countries
Anita Šimac
Moderator of the eTwinning featured group Learning for sustainability and green skills
Anita Šimac completed her education in the Department of Mathematics at University College London, one of the oldest universities in England, and one of the world’s leading research universities. Since 2011. she has been living in Zadar, Croatia teaching mathematics at the Petar Preradović Elementary School.
Maria O’ Donovan
Moderator of the featured group ‘Arts and cultural expression in education’
Maria O’Donovan is a post-primary visual art educator and PhD researcher dedicated to fostering creativity, sustainability, and innovation in education. With a Master’s in Arts Management and a postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management in Education, she blends academic expertise with practical experience to develop inclusive and dynamic teaching practices. Maria is an experienced eTwinning ambassador and Erasmus+ project leader, recognised for her ability to inspire critical thinking and creativity in students while cultivating a respectful and engaging learning environment. A frequent speaker and published author, she shares her insights on arts education, inclusion, and project-based learning at national and international events.
