This webinar will focus on best practices for promoting education free of gender stereotypes. It will open with an introduction by Cecilia Cantinzano, moderator of the eTwinning featured group Inclusive Education, who will provide an overview of ongoing and upcoming activities related to this theme.
Next, two eTwinning teachers will present their success stories:
- Jolanta Zamoyska-Markiewicz, an experienced eTwinning ambassador, will share her experiences from eTwinning projects, including the special initiative “Girls Shine”, which combined storytelling, poetry, and technology to empower young girls. The speaker will also address key topics such as how to create a safe, inclusive environment in schools—not only offline but online as well, and the importance of peer mentoring and encouraging girls to explore STEM fields and leadership roles, where they remain underrepresented.
- Tania Bermúdez Pérez, an eTwinning ambassador and English teacher whose educational work focuses on exploring the role of women in society and challenging gender stereotypes, will share insights and tips from her projects.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the discussion through a padlet, where they can share their own success stories, and through an open Q&A session on addressing gender stereotypes in education.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, share, and be inspired!
