Thanks to the financial support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the new platform will become a hub for content, networking and professional development of the school education community, hosting all the content and services provided so far by the School Education Gateway and eTwinning platforms. What is this webinar about?

As announced at the end of 2021, the European School Education Platform will bring together services and content from the eTwinning and School Education Gateway platforms under one roof. The preliminary version of the platform will be launched soon and will cater especially to eTwinning users, who will find the familiar services of Groups and TwinSpaces on the new platform, and in a new format.

Developing the platform to include the full range of services will take place gradually over the following months. During this time, the current platforms of eTwinning.net and SchoolEducationGateway.eu will remain available and will continue to host most of their services, such as the editorial content and Erasmus+ tools (including the course catalogue) on School Education Gateway, or TwinSpaces on eTwinning for ongoing projects.

During the webinar, the speakers will explain the objectives for the new platform and introduce you to the different areas and functionalities currently available, as well as offer an overview of the further development of the platform’s content and services over the coming months. The webinar will also offer you the opportunity to raise any questions you might have regarding the new platform and the transition period during which the current platforms and the new one remain available in parallel.
