An entire dimension of the European Education Area is dedicated to enhancing teachers’ and trainers’ education and professional development.
The new Erasmus+ programme (2021–2027) will contribute to achieving this goal by supporting projects with a wide range of opportunities, including cooperation with peers and spending time abroad.
The Erasmus+ Teacher Academies are a new initiative specifically designed to support teachers and trainers in their careers by fostering deeper cooperation in initial and continuing teacher education.
