eTwinning Groups are back!

Great news!🤩We are thrilled to announce that the eTwinning Groups are back!

But that's not all! We've also made some exciting updates that will allow eTwinners to safely engage in collaborative discussions with colleagues and partners.

There are hundreds of new eTwinning Groups running on the European School Education Platform, all created after June 2022. But many of you were members of Groups created on the old Platform (including all the Features Groups). 

We are delighted to announce that these eTwinning Groups are now ready for you to start your activities again. 

eTwinners can access their Groups by clicking on their profile picture and choosing the tab ‘My groups’ from the menu. This section includes all eTwinners’ active and closed Groups. 

eTwinners will be also excited to discover that eTwinning Groups have updated features: 

• Chats are hosted by rocket.chat, a secure platform that allows eTwinners to safely enjoy collaborative discussions with colleagues and partners. All chat sessions are listed in one place, making them easily accessible and offering the opportunity to get busy working simultaneously in many separate groups.
• Online meetings are run via a tool called BigBlueButton, which is fully integrated in the Groups and provides all the necessary features to organise and run productive video-conference sessions. 

If you are not yet a member of any Group, there’s no need to worry! To find or create new Groups, eTwinners can look in the eTwinning area, in the Groups section.
